A hiking group, including a blind member, got trapped by heavy snowfall and, running out of food, someone suggested cutting off an arm each for survival, which everyone, including the blind person, did.

Eventually, when a rescue team arrived, everyone except the blind person clapped with joy upon being rescued.

 

시각장애인이 포함된 등산 동호회는 폭설로 인해 갇히게 되었고, 식량이 떨어지자 누군가가 생존을 위해 팔을 자르자고 제안했으며 시각장애인을 포함해 모두가 그렇게 했다.

결국 구조대가 도착하자 시각 장애인을 제외한 모두가 구조되며 기쁨의 박수를 쳤다.

오늘 클라라의 라디오에서 신호를 수신했다.

우리는 석 달 전에 그녀의 몸을 깊은 우주로 방출했었다.

 

 

We knew something was wrong when less and less kids were graduating from school, but we blamed it on the usual suspects such as teen pregnancy and phone addiction.

But now as countless children lay dying of thirst because they couldn't muster the care to get a drink of water, now dubbed 'terminal apathy', we realised the cause may be something else entirely.

 

우리는 학교를 졸업하는 아이들의 수가 점점 줄어들면서 뭔가 잘못되었다는 것을 알았지만, 이를 십대 임신이나 전화 중독과 같은 일반적인 원인의 탓으로 돌렸다.

그러나 이제 수많은 어린이들이 물을 마실 기력도 없어 목말라 죽어가는 '말기 무기력’을 겪으면서 우리는 그 원인이 전혀 다른 것일 수도 있다는 것을 깨달았습니다.

 

 

"Clara you look even better than you did on our wedding day" I said to comfort her.

She really did, her decomposed body, her smells, her feel, everything, she had finally become beautiful.

 

"클라라, 우리 결혼식 때보다도 더 좋아 보여요." 나는 그녀를 위로하기 위해 말했다.

정말 그랬다. 부패한 몸, 냄새, 느낌, 모든 것이 마침내 아름다워졌다.
