My friend stood up during the roller coaster that had a tunnel to "touch the top of the tunnel" she said We are half way into the tunnel, why is she still standing and why isn't she saying anything? 

 

“터널 천장 한번 만져볼까.” 그렇게 말하며 친구는 달리는 롤러코스터에서 일어났습니다. 터널 안으로 반쯤 들어갔는데 왜 아직도 말없이 서있을까요? 

 

 

At one second past midnight with the streets and pharmacies overcrowded with people, the new wonder drug that would let you recall any memory since birth, the pill called Forget-It-Not was released. At five minutes past midnight, the suicide prevention telephone servers crashed due to exceedingly massive call volume. 

 

자정이 넘은 시각, 사람들로 가득 찬 거리와 약국, 태어날 때부터의 모든 기억을 떠올릴 수 있는 새로운 약 ‘잊지 않는 약’이 출시되었습니다. 자정이 지나고 5분후, 엄청나게 많은 통화량 때문에 자살예방 전화 서버가 다운됐습니다. 

 

 

"Felix is staring at that wall again, what a silly cat." My husband said. I didn't think Felix was silly, because I am certain he knows what is hidden behind that wall. 

 

"펠릭스가 또 벽을 쳐다보고 있어. 정말 멍청한 고양이야.” 남편이 말했습니다. 저는 펠릭스가 멍청하다고 생각하지 않습니다. 왜냐하면 펠릭스는 그 벽 뒤에 무엇이 숨겨져있는지 알기 때문입니다. 

 

 

As her broken, bloodied body drew its last breath, I uttered the incantation, instantly restoring her body to perfect health. ‘Most people don’t make it through 4 rounds of interrogation.’ I thought, as I started with the fingernails again. 

 

그녀의 부서지고 피투성이가 된 몸이 마지막 숨을 몰아쉬자 나는 주문을 외웠고, 그녀의 몸은 즉시 완벽히 회복되었습니다. '대부분 4회 연속 심문은 견디지 못하는데.’ 그렇게 생각하며 나는 손톱부터 다시 시작했습니다. 

 

 

"I'm gonna break your fingers if you don't start talking" It wasn't until he pulled out the liquid nitrogen that I realized he wasn't just talking about the bones. 

 

"말하지 않으면 손가락을 부러뜨릴거야.” 그가 액체 질소를 뿌리고 나서야 나는 부러뜨린다는 것이 뼈가 아니라는걸 깨달았습니다.
