The resurrected girl stood on the stage, thousands of adoring eyes upon her.

"I come to you not as a miracle," her voice thicker than her throat "but as a harbinger."

 

되살려진 소녀는 무대에 섰고, 수천 명의 경애하는 시선이 그녀를 바라보았다.

"나는 기적으로서 여기 온 것이 아니라" 그녀가 낼 수 없는 굵은 목소리로, “전령로서 왔다."

 

 

The cat finally laid down and purred by its owner's feet.

It had taken so long for the owner's body to stop swinging.

 

마침내 고양이는 주인의 발치에 누워 가르릉거렸습니다.

주인의 몸이 그네처럼 흔들리는 것을 멈추는 데는 오랜 시간이 걸렸습니다.

 

 

All of a sudden, the flashlights turned on for half the people’s phones in the club, mine wouldn’t turn off.

Then the police came through and started handcuffing everyone whose flashlight was on, the last thing I remember was the hood going on my head.

 

갑자기 클럽에 있는 사람들 절반의 전화기 불빛이 켜졌는데 내 것은 꺼지지 않았다.

그리고 경찰이 쳐들어와서 불빛이 켜진 모든 사람들에게 수갑을 채우기 시작했습니다. 제가 마지막으로 기억하는 것은 내 머리에 두건이 씌워지던 것이다.

 

 

When they first arrived promoting peace and unity, our world welcomed them with open arms.

It didn’t take long for them to destroy our planet like they did their own Earth.

 

그들이 평화와 화합을 전하기 위해 처음 도착했을 때, 세계는 두 팔을 벌려 그들을 환영했습니다.

그들이 지구에 했던 것 처럼 우리 행성을 파괴하는 데는 오랜 시간이 걸리지 않았습니다.

 

 

I was concerned when I found a copy of my fiancé's graduate thesis on his laptop, titled "Gaslighting in romantic relationships: a case study," so I confronted him about it.

But he said he had no idea what I was talking about, and when I looked again the file was gone, so I guess I was just imagining things.

 

나는 약혼자의 노트북에서 "연애에서의 가스라이팅: 사례 연구"라는 제목의 대학원 논문 사본을 발견했을 때 걱정이 되어 그에게 이에 대해 이야기했다.

하지만 그는 무슨 말인지 전혀 모르겠다고 하고, 다시 찾아보니 파일이 없어져서 그냥 내 상상이었던게 아닌가 싶다.
